                     JNTUH college of Engineering Manthani is a constituent college of JNTU Hyderabad. It was established in the year 2010 with 6 different branches namely, Civil Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, Mining Engineering and Mining Machinery Engineering.

The college is conducting a National Level Technical Symposium AAVISHKRUTH every year to encourage the growing minds of students all over. This symposium creates a platform for all to show their skills and talents to the outer world. All branches of our college collectively participate in conducting this event and strive hard for it's excellence. This year, we are conducting this event by name AAVISHKRUTH-2K15 on 31st March and 1st April, 2015.

The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering is conducting it's events in AAVISHKRUTH-2K15 under the name ELECTROORKA-2K15. Electroorka stands for Electrical Energy, which has become one of the basic elements of life. Every electrical and electronic gadget which makes our life simpler runs on electrical power. But today our environment is being polluted by different emissions from industries, burning of fossil fuels etc. So it is our duty to save our environment and develop better living conditions for man.
Hence the main theme of ELECTROORKA-2K15 is to promote green energy in every aspects.
The technical events that are being conducted in this symposium by Electrical and Electronics Engineering Department are

• Pariyojana
• Stroom Kring
• Teknik Byanga
• Mockentev You

Apart from these technical events many spot events are also available.

Aalokh (Power Point Presentation) :

"The power of the word, makes you hear, makes you feel--it is, before all, makes you SEE."

This event creates a stage to present yourselves in front of officials, explain them your ideas, nurture your thoughts about the topic you are presenting and also makes you to know new ideas and ideologies developing around the globe.

REGISTRATION FEE :

The Registration Fee for this event is as follows,

1. ₹200 for a team of two(2) members.
2. ₹100 for single person, if he is presenting alone.

The maximum number of contestants for a single presentation is two(2). Every participant gets a participant certificate and the top three contestants gets certificate of appreciation. There is also prize money for the top contestant and the amount will be declared soon.

Postara Upasthapana (Poster Presentation) :

"The more you think, the more you face. So stop thinking and start acting."

Make a poster of your topic of discussion with neat pictures to present it in front of all students. The posters can be on any topic which is directly or indirectly linked to the development of eco-friendly green technologies.

REGISTRATION FEE :

The Registration Fee for this event is as follows,

1. ₹200 for two(2) members.
2. ₹100 for single person.

The maximum number of contestants for a single presentation is two(2). Every participant gets a participation certificate and the top contestant gets the certificate of appreciation.

Pariyojana (Project Expo) :

What on earth makes an Engineer happy? Working Hard and creating something useful for others. So this is your opportunity to show your engineering skills to the world. Come, open up your mind, show your skills, create your prototypes or replicas and unleash your powers.

REGISTRATION FEE :

The Registration Fee for this event is ₹300 per project. A project must contain a maximum of four(4) contestants only.

All the participants will avail participation certificates and the top Project will get the certificate of appreciation along with cash prize which will be announced soon.

Stroom Kring (Circuit Designing) :

"Never let the POWER control you. You control the POWER."

This is where the power of an true Electrical Engineer comes into play. Make the circuit, the way which you wanted o make and bring the output which we suggest you. You can use any component you want. Play with your knowledge of circuitry.

REGISTRATION FEE :

The Registration Fee for this event is ₹150 for a team of three(3) members. It is compulsory that a team must contain three(3) members. The combination of the contestants is your choice.

All participants will get the participation certificate and the top three(3) teams will get the certificate of appreciation and the top contestant will get cash prize, which will be declared soon.

REGISTRATION FEE :

The Registration Fee for this event is ₹150 per team of three (3) students. Selection of team-members is  entirely your choice, with a limitation of one 3rd year or above student per team.

All participants will be given a participation certificate and the top team will be given certificate of appreciation along with with cash awards, which will be declared soon.

REGISTRATION FEE :

The Fee to enter this event is only ₹50, per candidate. All participants will take part individually.

Each participant will be given participation certificates, for their effort. The best three(3) performers among them will be given the certificate of appreciation, with cash award for the top contestant with best overall performance.
